Hydroseeding is great for erosion control because once the mulch hardens it binds with any dust and soil creating a protective cover while the seeds germinate.
For severe slopes in the Nelson or tasman Bay area, our hydroseeding unit can apply a unique blend of Mulch products to erosion prone areas forming a protective barrier against the elements. We use a product called Ez Bond Maximum that contains hydrocolloid tackifier and cross linking chemistry that can last for up to 18 months.
